How did you start competing?

I began competing in 2012. I have always been active in sports for the duration of my life. Bodybuilding fascinated me since I was a child, and at the moment I was in college and wasn’t active in any sport but lived in the gym, so I thought why not give it a try. I did, and I have been hooked ever since.

How long have you been competing?

I began power-lifting when I was 12, and began bodybuilding when I was 22. I have participated in many other sports between that time, however weights have been a part of my life since I was 12, I am now 28 years old!

What is your proudest moment/achievement in your sport?

The proudest moment for me was stepping on the Arnold stage in 2017 and finishing with a 4th place finish. Although it wasn’t first, I felt like it was. To step on such an elite stage and be competitive with an amazing group of women was such an accomplishment and I cherish it so much!

What are your favorite foods to eat?

Trail mix is by far my favorite thing to eat, in large amounts! Trail mix and sushi. I could eat it every single day!

What do you like to do outside of the Gym?

I enjoy spending time at home, I’m a homebody so enjoying myself with my fur babies and loved one is a perfect time for me. We have made our home our sanctuary so sitting at home on our patio or in the pool watching and listening to nature is great! Also having friends and family over to cook out is absolutely fantastic!

Who are your inspirations or people you look up to?

I have so many people that inspire me. Being a trainer, I would have to say my clients inspire me the most, you never know what people are going through sometimes and to hear some of their stories and see them push forward to reach their goals regardless of their circumstances is so powerful to me. In fact I’m not sure they even realize how much they inspire me to push forward in my moments of weakness!

What’s something about you that not many people know?

I’m a pescatarian! Meaning I only eat fish! This is something I have done for years now and has nothing to do with health or bodybuilding. I’m just a huge animal person and it was challenging for me to eat meat, so one day (thanksgiving in fact) I quit eating it. It’s not that I didn’t enjoy eating meat. I did. I just couldn’t bring myself to do it anymore. I haven’t ate meat in over 10 years!
